Smith Family Maternity Session | Metro Detroit Maternity Portrait Photographer | Washington Township, MI.

Late last summer I got to meet the beautiful Smith family on a gorgeous evening out at Stony Creek Metro Park. The smith’s were getting ready to meet their second son due at any time and wanted to capture this one last time as a family of three and grab some beautiful portraits of Mama. Amanda chose to wore two of my maternity dresses in dark navy and one of my favorite dresses the mustard color that just photographs so beautifully in both summer and fall. She also did a great job bringing along outfits to help coordinate with her husband and her son.

Upon arrival, she showed me the outfits she brought for her husband and her son and we determined together which pieces would work with her dress choices that she picked out to wear for her maternity session. I always ask clients to bring along several outfits for their session because sometimes viewing the dresses in person can change the entire look of a session with other pieces that you bring with you.
