Micklus Late Summer Maternity Session | Macomb County Maternity Portrait Photography

This session will be one for the books for me! While I was waiting for this gorgeous mama to get on one of my maternity dresses, I had a few bees that would not stop dive bombing me. It was awful, they were super persistent, and one finally got its chance to land on me and take its annoyance of me being there on me. This was my first time ever being stung by a bee/wasp and needless to say, I was a bit nervous as to what was going to happen to me. Thankfully nothing did but an intense burning pain in my arm I felt nearly the entire session, but never once spoke up about it because to be frank, I was more worried about this Mama getting stung when her husband said she was allergic to them! I was so glad I was able to get thru this session and boy did she rock the hell out of it. The maternity dresses she chose were perfect for her and the two of them together just nailed all their shots. Just simply, a gorgeous couple!

The weather was still amazing enough that we were able to get into the water and do some amazing captures in the water. The sunset was super hazy due to fires out west that truly give all images in the summer with such a soft orange glow. It’s truly magical.
