From the moment you inquire I like to find out what exactly you are looking for in your session and to be sure that we are a good fit for each other. You want to hire a photographer that executes what your looking for and that you feel you could get along with and not feel like total strangers when meeting in a parking lot or in my studio. Upon booking, I will send out a questionnaire for your session to get an idea of colors your looking for, sizes of clothing for you and or your children. The only exception to this questionnaire is that I don't send this out to my newborn clients until baby has arrived but if you do know what your having, we have a conversation of colors your looking for ect but the detailed questionnaire will come at a later date. My questionnaire also asks some questions so I can get to know you and or your children as well!

Many clients prefer to allow me to take creative control because that is why they hire me. They trust in my vision and just want to have beautiful portraits of their children. When this is the case upon entering the studio, set ups will be set up for you to view and approve prior to shooting. I have an expansive collection of infant outfits that photograph beautifully and clients have the opportunity to view this wardrobe at their session. If an outdoor session is to take place, I will bring outfits with your color choices you are requesting along with props.

My goal is for you to simply show up at a session and allow me to execute beautiful portraits.

Maternity clients will be sent a maternity guide with dresses available to wear during your session. I urge all my maternity clients to at least try on a maternity gown for their session along with their own outfit in the event you don't feel comfortable in the dresses. I promise you will though! All family sessions will be provided with a guide on what to wear for your session to help you prepare for your session with me as well.
