When summer hits and the flowers are endless in my garden and the temperatures are just the perfect temp to start providing milk bath sessions for babies, I am all in for them. One of my favorite ways to capture infants, boy’s OR girl’s is to capture them in a beautifully done up in a milk bath. Depending on what mom prefers, I use dry milk powder or mom provides a few pouches of breast milk to give the water the milky color.
Sometimes infants struggle with the thought of a milk bath and start to cry and then slowly ease into it because we make sure number one the water is comfortable for them just as it would be for bath time inside and two we try our hardest to make it fun for them. Lenora was a little hard to please and absolutely did not want to sit down in the tub at all and wanted to stand nearly the entire time and given her sweet little age of just 8 months at the time, I surely thought that after 20 minutes of trying to get her to sit down, her little legs would have gotten tired but nope, she preferred to stand and protest in anger with us about the entire situation. However, you would absolutely never guess the struggle bus we all occurred while trying to capture this session!
