MaKenzie’s Maternity Session | Metro Detroit Maternity Photographer

When your client drives two hours to you for a maternity session and within 20 minutes of their session, rain moves in out of know where… what do you do? You pray to the rain gods that is stops and goes away or is at-least be light in nature because hello, she drove two hours to you! This session was one for the books. The rain was just misty for the first part and then the skies gave us a beautiful show to help make Makenzie’s maternity images even that more amazing.

I had just purchased some additional dresses to my client wardrobe and Makenzie glady wore them for her session and man did they photograph amazing and just beautiful on her. The burnt orange dress complimented with nature just amazingly, its now become the most popular requested dress thru out the end of summer and fall! We then headed over to the beach to finish up her session and the lace dress was one of her favs and in her words, “felt so comfortable to wear.”

I am so glad the weather cooperated for her and she trusted my judgment on proceeding to shoot and just go with it. This maternity session was just amazing!
