Happiest of Saturday’s to all my blog readers. I have a special session to share with you all that has really touched my heart while editing his session. This session with Joseph is very special to me; Joesph is the first Autistic child that I have had the absolute pleasure of photographing. He was such a beautiful little boy and did so much better than I anticipated. As you can tell from his portraits below, he warmed up to me beautifully.
I met Joseph and his Mom, Dawn at Clinton River Heritage Park on a very snowy. It made for a beautiful backdrop and a very curious little boy. This was my first snowy shoot of this season, although I thought it was rather earlier for Michigan but then again our weather changes at the blink of an eye. So I was pretty excited to get out there and get back to doing snowy shoot. Lord knows we had a ton of snow last winter but was just too cold to enjoy photo sessions outdoors.
I am pretty sure Joseph’s favorite part of the session was looking at the river and watching the ducks swim past us. He has such a curious mind and of course a beautiful sole. I really enjoy reading his mom status updates about him and just feel so blessed that I have given this family beautiful portraits of their son!
Enjoy his preview below 🙂
