Stickel Family Maternity Session | Detroit Maternity Photographer | Macomb County, MI

The beloved Stickel family has been with me since their oldest daughter Evie was born when I first met them for her newborn session and it was such a dream to photograph them to celebrate their upcoming arrival of another baby girl. Traci and I became friends and I truly got to know their family as beautiful Evie was on my grow with me plan when she was an infant. Seeing Evie become a big sister was such an honor and the joy and spark she had was so refreshing to see. We have spent many sessions with little Evie not being super impressed with me when it came time for portraits of her! We laugh about it now but now she loves me and loves to get her picture taken! I always told her mama, she would get better with time.

Traci had dreams of a boho like maternity session and I am pretty sure, I was able to accomplish this for her! She was pretty nervous about getting her picture taken as well because like so many of us mama’s in the last few weeks of pregnancy ,we feel huge and unbeautiful (if that is even a word) but I insisted that she would love doing this and feel like a goddess herself during the session. We had so much fun and Traci looked beautiful!

We had such a beautiful summer evening to wrap up the last of my summer sessions! The water was still warm and Evie just loved going to the beach and playing in the water and dancing with her daddy! I loved being able to capture the joy with this family. Enjoy this beautiful summer session with the Stickel family.
