I don’t get the chance to get some of my own photography stuff edited because I am so busy with editing all my clients work however, I spent this past labor day weekend editing and getting caught up on personal stuff. I wanted to share a special day I had with my daughter back in June. My husband and I celebrated our four year wedding anniversary and since my daughter, Chloe is two years old now, I wanted to get her in my wedding dress as just a little toddler.
I can not express how beautiful the evening was for not only my precious Chloe but for myself. Seeing my daughter in my wedding dress was just beautiful. It brought back so many memories for myself and even though she is just simply two years old, I fast forwarded about 20 plus years when I get to be there to watch my own daughter try on her wedding dress for the first time.
When I asked Chloe what her favorite part of wearing my wedding dress was, she said “I liked looking like a pretty princess”. The moment I put the dress on her she proclaimed her excitement with a big ooooooooooooooooohhhhhhh so pretty mama! She pointed out all the little blingy’s on the dress and tried to run away from me in it but quickly figured out the dress was simply too heavy!
