Welcome back, everyone!

I recently had a fabulous session with the Joseph family. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I truly have the best clients ever! This family was no exception, either. They were a beautiful, fun and happy family willing to do whatever it took to get the perfect shots.

We met at Stoney Creek Metro Park’s Baypoint beach where we started to get some awesome summer family shots. I love shooting at Baypoint Beach because its often less crowded in the evening and its away from the super awesome playgound that Eastwood beach has, and well parents know, we need to keep kids away from anything that will take there focus off of getting picture taken.

One of their favorite things to do as a family is going for walks and as you can see in the pictures below of little James walking with mommy and daddy, he loves doing just that!

For our shoot, the Joseph’s brought something super unique and special for their son James to wear. He was wearing his daddy’s old overalls! How special is that for their son’s first year pictures 🙂 Upon finding out his outfit meant something special to the parents, I was so thrilled to be able to capture such an amazing pictures for them in his special outfit.

It truly was an awesome photo shoot. And if any of you are considering a family session or are prepping for an upcoming session that is during the evening hours around children’s bedtime, heed the words of Bridget’s advice: “We were worried about it being so close to James’s bedtime, but he actually did great! I often tell all my clients that I usually prefer to shoot during the evening hours as the sunlight is at its best resulting in picture perfect images 🙂 Take a look for yourself.
